Kelley Hagood, 18, was the 2000 Silver Medalist in the James A. Bland Music Scholarship Competition.  She is a freshman at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and graduate of Broad Run High School in Loudoun County, VA.  She was selected to be a member of Loudoun County's All County Choir.  She performed the lead vocal in her school's rendition of Sister Act 2's Oh Happy Day.   She performed with her high school's treble choir at Walt Disney World in April 2000.   Kelley is a teenage songwriter performer.  She recently penned the catchy upbeat pop/R&B song Beat of Your Heart to characterize a young girl's ambivalence about a romantic relationship and yearning for one that is more substantive.
